Gwangalli M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show
About the Festival
The Gwangalli M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show, which began in 2022 and is scheduled to run until December 31, 2026, features "M" signifying 'Marvelous,' meaning 'amazing' or 'wonderful.' The lights emitted by the drones harmonize with the night view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, a landmark of Busan, offering visitors to Gwangalli a sense of wonder and mystery. It is performed twice every Saturday evening for approximately 12 minutes (Winter season: Oct-Feb, 7 PM & 9 PM / Summer season: Mar-Sep, 8 PM & 10 PM) and can be viewed from anywhere on Gwangalli Beach. Various drone shows are held, ranging from regular performances with 1,000 drones every week to larger-scale shows with up to 2,500 drones for events like New Year's countdown, Seollal (Lunar New Year), and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). * Performance schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
