*The food information for the festival venue below is based on last year's (2025) festival content, and the 2026 festival content is currently being updated.*Celebrating its 28th anniversary this year, the 2026 Mungyeong Traditional Tea Bowl Festival is one of Korea's representative festivals, where the depth of tradition and modern sensibilities harmonize.It will splendidly unfold for ten days, from May 1 to 10, 2026, at the Mungyeong Saejae Open Set, which preserves a naturally beautiful landscape.Mungyeong ceramics insist on traditional wood-fired kilns (Mangdaengi kilns) rather than artificial techniques, born in the hot flames of over 1,300°C.The tea bowls, with their rustic yet natural charm, are full of appeal that can even clear the mind of the user.In particular, this festival has significantly strengthened various participatory contents targeting 'MZ generation' and 'family visitors,' aspiring to evolve from a mere viewing festival into a stay-type festival where everyone can enjoy together.
