The Cheongsando Slow Walking Festival, held on Cheongsando Island in Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, is a representative walking festival where visitors can experience the value of slowness amidst beautiful nature. Cheongsando was designated as Asia's first Slow City in 2007, offering a chance to relax and heal while leisurely walking through landscapes where stone walls, rapeseed flowers, and the blue sea harmonize. During the festival, various programs such as walking the 42.195km Slow Road, a Moonlight Night Walk, diverse experiential activities, and performances are prepared, providing special memories for visitors. It is also widely loved as a healing tourism festival where visitors can experience Wando's pristine nature and marine healing resources, allowing both body and mind to rest.
