About the Festival

The 'Elixir Expedition' is an experiential mission tour event held at Donguibogam Village in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam. It's a special program where participants can directly experience and enjoy the history, legends, and traditional Korean medicine culture of Sancheong. Conducted as part of the 18th Sancheong-gun Children's Day event, participants use chatbots and mission books to find clues for each mission and solve problems, naturally exploring various parts of Donguibogam Village. It's not a one-sided tour where you simply listen to explanations or observe; instead, it's structured as 'storytelling-type tourism content' where you actively participate in the story and personally feel Sancheong's traditions and culture. In particular, the various missions conducted at Donguibogam Village's main exhibition halls and outdoor facilities offer both fun and learning to visitors. By experiencing the journey of becoming an adventurer and searching for the secret of the elixir, visitors will rediscover the charm of Sancheong and the spirit of Donguibogam. As such, the 'Elixir Expedition' is a representative tourism event that allows visitors to experience Sancheong in a more exciting and vibrant way through an immersive experience that harmonizes tradition and modernity.
