About the Festival

The 'Children's Seonbi Festival' is a participatory cultural festival prepared to help children naturally learn the value of learning through play and experience, based on traditional Seonbi culture.It operates in the areas of Seonbisesang, Seonbichon, and the Korea Seonbi Culture Training Institute, where children can fully experience the Seonbi spirit and traditional culture through the immersive educational program 'Today's Top Scholar is Me!' and the children's civil service exam experience program. It is characterized by combining experience-oriented content with play-type spaces to attract high participation from family visitors, and by enhancing immersion through the successful civil service exam procession parade and Joseon-themed programs. By 2026, there are plans to expand it into a stay-type cultural tourism content through content advancement and strengthening of the operating system.
