About the Festival

The 2026 Chajeonjanggun Nogukgongju Festival is Andong's representative spring festival, a traditional folk culture festival held primarily in the old downtown area. It is operated as a stay-type festival where locals and tourists can participate and enjoy together, utilizing various spaces such as Jungangseon 1942 Andong Station, Talchum Park, and Culture Street. Its characteristic feature is a program that combines traditional performances from home and abroad with modern content, based on Andong's unique folk cultures such as Andong Chajeonnori and Andong Notdaribapgi. Furthermore, it is a festival that simultaneously promotes the inheritance of traditional culture and the revitalization of the local economy through various participatory contents such as parades, experiential events, and exhibition/sales booths.
