About the Festival

The 'Han River History Exploration' program offers attractive tourist commentary and education for citizens and tourists to experience and appreciate the Han River waterfront, enjoying and sharing its scenery, historical, and cultural resources. Furthermore, it aims to revitalize Han River's historical culture, which can be enjoyed in daily life, by developing various contents that allow citizens to actively participate and directly experience, such as hands-on activities. Visitors walk along designated courses, exploring the Han River basin and nearby cultural heritage sites, listening to explanations from a Han River guide. The Han River History Exploration operates with a total of 16 courses, and visitors can explore the history of the Han River related to each specific course while walking along it.
