This is a real-scene historical musical set against the backdrop of the Namgang River and Uiam Rock, the historical site of the Jinjuseong Fortress Battle during the Imjin War. It reconstructs the noble sacrifices of Jinju officials and citizens who fought against the Japanese invaders, and the loyalty of Uigi Nongae, with modern music and dynamic choreography. Utilizing a special stage installed on the actual Namgang River, the performance maximizes realism, and combines the beautiful night view of Chokseongnu Pavilion with splendid lighting technology to provide an overwhelming visual experience. It elevates local historical resources into cultural content, conveying the value of the Jinju spirit and contributing to the revitalization of night tourism. Professional actors and local citizens participate together, creating a venue for harmony, and delivering deep emotion to the audience through advanced effects and firework displays. The solid narrative based on historical research and magnificent musical numbers help people of all ages easily understand and immerse themselves in the performance. This performance is staged annually in May, coinciding with the Jinju Nongae Festival, and has firmly established its status as Jinju's representative high-quality cultural and artistic content.
