Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival

*The festival content below is from the previous year (2025), and the content for the 2026 festival is currently being updated.* The Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival is one of Korea's representative summer festivals, selected as a 2025 Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cultural Tourism Festival. Based on clean water resources such as the clear waters of Tamjingang River and Jangheung Dam Lake, all programs are connected under Jangheung's theme of "Water = Health, Healing." The diverse programs, continuing day and night, allow everyone, regardless of age or gender, to escape the midsummer heat and daily routine. The Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival, which is being developed into a global festival through business agreements and festival exchanges with the Thai Songkran Festival and the Venice Carnival Organizing Committee in Italy, becomes the best choice for a summer vacation.
