Hwaseong Boating Festival

Hwaseong's representative festival, the 'Hwaseong Boating Festival', is the largest marine culture festival in the metropolitan area where visitors can experience yacht and boat boarding. It offers various maritime programs to enjoy the West Sea coolly, such as sailing yachts, powerboats, marine cable cars, and the 'Pungnyudan's Voyage'. There are plenty of things to see and do across land and sea, including the passionate dance parade 'Baram-ui Sasindan' (Messenger of the Wind), spectacular performances and fireworks lighting up the night sky, mudflat ecological experiences, traditional 'doksal' fishing, a large beach playground, and marine plogging.
