The Yecheon International Smartphone Film Festival, now in its 8th year, is a film festival that accepts entries for films and videos shot with smartphones, selects winners through a screening process, and holds an awards ceremony on Saturday, October 9th, alongside a film festival for local residents to enjoy. Having taken its first steps in 2019 in Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, a city with a blessed natural environment, the Yecheon International Smartphone Film Festival (YISFF) represents Yecheon and has become a leading smartphone film festival beyond Gyeongbuk and across the nation. By producing films using smartphones that "anyone" possesses in line with the traces of the times, it has brought a fresh and new breeze.
