Hoengseong Hanu Festival

The 22nd Hoengseong Hanu Festival is a representative stay-type tourism festival in Korea, held for five days from October 7 to 11, 2026, in the Seomgang Dunchi area of Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do. Under the slogan 'Delicious, Stay, Shine,' the festival operates with the theme 'Autumn to Stay, Hoengseong, the Shining City of Taste!' Its purpose is to promote the excellence and brand competitiveness of Hoengseong Hanu nationwide and revitalize the local economy, hosted and organized by the Hoengseong Cultural Tourism Foundation. The festival consists of 14 programs across three themes: food, culture/arts, and experiences. It is operated as a time-extended festival that increases the length of stay by linking daytime (10:00~18:00) and nighttime (18:00~21:00) programs, and it is a win-win festival where local merchants, farmers, and residents participate together.
