Geumsa Oriental Melon Festival

Geumsa Oriental Melon is a representative specialty of Yeoju City, boasting the highest sugar content and quality thanks to the clean Namhan River and high daily temperature range. The 20th Geumsa Oriental Melon Festival, held in Geumsa-myeon, Yeoju-si—the only oriental melon-producing region in the Seoul metropolitan area—will take place from May 22 (Fri) to May 24 (Sun) at Geumsa Neighborhood Park under the theme "Colored by Crispness, Fall for Geumsa Oriental Melon!" The festival offers various attractions and activities for tourists, including experience events for families, golden melon picking, surprise melon auctions, and a Youth Music Festival targeting teenagers and the MZ generation.
