Hosted by Gangwon State and organized by the Gangwon Cultural Foundation, the 2026 PyeongChang Music Festival (Artistic Director: Sung-Won Yang) will be held for 11 days from July 23 (Thu) to August 2 (Sun) at the Alpensia Concert Hall and Daegwallyeong Outdoor Performance Stage (Music Tent) in Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, and throughout Gangwon State. This year, under the theme 'Legacy and Innovation,' it aims to show that the works of composers accumulated over centuries are the foundation of art that lives on today and serves as the soil for new creation. By introducing many new musicians and works, the entire performance will be connected as a single narrative and journey, providing audiences with a time to experience a grand flow through music. 19 sessions of , 10 sessions of , , 'Chamber Music Mentorship Program' and 'Masterclasses', 5 sessions of , and 'Special Lectures' of , etc., will take place.
