Daejeon Jung-gu Book Festival

The 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens its second chapter, "Connecting Each Other," building on the diverse reading cultures and entities discovered during the 2025 festival to connect them and expand relationships within the city. Chapter 2, "Connecting Each Other," is a festival that reads Jung-gu—where stories have accumulated over a long time—like a single book. It rediscovers and connects the stories already existing within Jung-gu by following the time piled up in alleys, memories remaining in the old city center, people's lives, and the emotions held by the region. This festival provides a platform to link people to people, places to memories, and the city to reading culture through books, creating a time to share the depth of Jung-gu's stories and the potential of its reading culture.
