Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo

The Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo is a dinosaur-themed festival held at Danghangpo Tourist Land in Hoehwa-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Goseong-gun is widely known as one of the world's top three dinosaur footprint fossil sites, and the expo has been held since 2006 to promote the value of dinosaur fossils found in various regions and to boost the tourism industry. The venue, Danghangpo Tourist Land, consists of a Dinosaur Theme Zone and an Yi Sun-sin Theme Zone, featuring outdoor theme parks such as coastal walks, hiking trails, and dinosaur footprint exploration trails. The event is hosted by Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and as of 2026, the Goseong Culture and Tourism Foundation operates the Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo. The 2026 expo marks the 10th edition and the 20th anniversary, held under the theme 'Exciting Adventure with Dinosaurs.' Furthermore, it has established itself as a representative dinosaur-themed festival in Korea through various exhibition and experience programs and performances held every year.
