Jeonju Gamaek Festival

The only festival in the country where you can taste fresh, cold beer produced on the same day at the HiteJinro Jeonju factory. Loved for its special charm of "drinking beer made today, today," the Jeonju Gamaek Festival is a representative summer festival that expands Jeonju's unique "Gamaek" culture—enjoying beer and dried snacks at small neighborhood shops—into a large-scale event. The festival grounds are filled with a variety of snacks from local Gamaek shops recognized by Jeonju residents, cool beer produced on the same day, and spectacular performances that add to the excitement of summer nights. Held for three days from August 6th to 8th, the 2026 Jeonju Gamaek Festival revives Jeonju's unique "Gamaek" culture in festival form, allowing visitors to experience both the snacks of old alleyway shops and the heat of the festival site simultaneously.
