Sokcho Summer Festival

The 2026 Sokcho Summer Festival is a representative regional summer festival held for three days from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Sokcho Beach in Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do. Set against the backdrop of Sokcho's blue sea and cool beach, the event offers dynamic summer content to vacationers and local residents. Programs include 'Reply Arcade,' a retro game competition; 'Sokcho Summer Splash Water Run,' a water gun survival battle; and 'Summer Groove,' where local dance teams and the audience come together. At night, 'Beach Sound,' a music performance of various genres, and 'Summer Night Electric,' an electronic DJ festival to blow away the midsummer heat, heat up the main stage. In addition, free experience programs with a refreshing summer vibe, such as making DIY fans and pinwheels, and a local food market with 14 participating teams are operated to promote coexistence with the local commercial district. Through these dynamic activities that continue from day to night, it is a festival where visitors can enjoy a perfect summer vacation in their daily lives.
