The 26th Miryang Performing Arts Festival, established as a representative summer performing arts festival in Korea, will be held for 12 days from July 21 to August 1 at Miryang Arena, Miryang Arirang Art Center, and throughout Miryang city. Selected as part of the 2nd 'Local 100' by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this year's festival expands its stage from the previous focus on Miryang Arena to include the Arirang Art Center, Eoreumgol, and the entire city under the slogan 'The city as a stage, daily life as a performance,' allowing citizens and tourists to naturally encounter performances in their daily lives. During the festival, a total of 86 diverse performances and rich events will take place. From warm, empathetic stages that span generations to original immersive performances that boldly break the barriers between the stage and the audience, various theatrical attempts to blur the boundaries between the audience and art will unfold against the backdrop of Miryang's beautiful nature and urban spaces.
