The 2026 Yeongdeok National Heritage Night Tour, subtitled "Yeonghae 1926, Strolling Through That Night," is a three-day nocturnal historical and cultural festival held from August 21 to 23, 2026, in the Modern Historical and Cultural Space of Yeonghae Market Street in Yeonghae-myeon, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Yeonghae Market Street is a National Registered Cultural Heritage at the township (myeon) level, a distinction shared by only six regions nationwide. This night tour revives the scenery of Yeonghae from 100 years ago throughout its alleys, offering an immersive cultural experience where visitors can walk through history. Set against the backdrop of 1926, the night streets are filled with diverse content such as site-specific musicals, modern costume parades, rickshaws, silent films, and traditional intangible heritage performances. A total of 40 programs under eight themes—Night Scenery, Night Walks, Night History, Night Pictures, Night Tales, Night Food, Night Lodging, and Night Markets—operate daily from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and all events are free to attend.
