Marine Leisure Festival, KIMA WEEK

KIMA WEEK (Korea International Marine Leisure Week) is a leading comprehensive marine leisure festival in Korea, held annually to spread marine leisure culture and revitalize marine tourism. Since its inception in 2013, KIMA WEEK has been co-hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Busan Metropolitan City, and organized by the Korea International Marine Leisure Network. Key programs include opening performances, the operation of 'KIMA Beach' (a beach culture event space), and various marine leisure experience festivals open to everyone. It is a festival where people of all ages can experience a special summer by the sea through diverse activities such as marine leisure sports experiences, cultural performances, family participation programs, and exhibition/experience content. As a complex festival blending marine leisure, tourism, and culture, it promotes the charm of Busan's beautiful beaches and marine leisure, serving as a representative summer marine festival where citizens and tourists can communicate and enjoy together.
