The Contemporary Artist Project 《Lee Wan - I Write》, produced by the Seoul Arts Center, is an exhibition that reinterprets traditional Korean calligraphy through the language of contemporary art. Artist Lee Wan explores new possibilities for calligraphy by combining characters, images, paintings, and seal carving based on brush and ink. Beyond simply appreciating beautiful handwriting, the exhibition shows that writing can be an art form for self-expression through the question 'Why do I write?' It is an exhibition where you can experience the potential of new calligraphy where tradition and modernity meet.
