The "Nam-gu Youth Arts Festival," held every September to support the artistic activities of young artists and expand the foundation of youth culture and arts, returns with new young artists. The 'Fringe FESTA' for small-scale artists will be held from September 1 (Tue) to September 4 (Fri) at the Changgong Hall of the Daegu Music Factory, while the 'Youth Arts Festival' featuring large-scale art teams will take place on September 10 (Thu) and September 11 (Fri) at the Dream Hall of the Daedeok Cultural Center. To encourage more artists to participate, the residency requirements for local artists have been removed, and practical benefits for performing artists have been further strengthened for the [2026 Nam-gu Youth Arts Festival], which offers free admission for ages 5 and up. The exhibition segment of the "2026 Nam-gu Youth Arts Festival" features 104 young artists from representative regional art colleges, including Keimyung University College of Fine Arts, Dongseo University Department of Fine Arts, and Pusan National University Department of Fine Arts. "Youth Artist_ART CONNECT," which encompasses various genres of art such as painting, media, visual design, craft design, and webtoons, will be held from August 18 (Tue) to September 18 (Fri) at the Daedeok Cultural Center Exhibition Halls 1-3 with free admission, and is closed every Sunday.
