Gyeongbokgung Starlight Tour is a night exploration program where visitors tour the northern area of Gyeongbokgung Palace and experience royal cuisine and traditional culture. Moving through various parts of the palace with expert commentary, visitors can explore the royal life of the Joseon Dynasty and historical stories related to Gyeongbokgung. At the Oesojubang, the palace kitchen, a special 12-dish royal meal, a modern reinterpretation of the Joseon Dynasty's royal table, is served in a 'dosirak' (lunch box) format. This year, a special changgeuk (traditional Korean opera) featuring the King's story is presented at Jibokjae, King Gojong's library, providing a unique experience where the history of the space and the performance harmonize. Following this, visitors can gaze at the starlight reflected in Hyangwonji pond and enjoy a different atmosphere from the daytime amidst the serene scenery of Gyeongbokgung. At the Gyeongbokgung Starlight Tour, where the food culture of the Joseon royal family, historical spaces, beautiful night views, and traditional culture come together, you can experience a special and warm night at the palace.
