Suseongmot Festival

Suseongmot Festival is a festival that offers artistic experiences to citizens against the backdrop of Suseongmot Lake, the most popular spot for Daegu citizens. It was ranked first for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020 in the 'Daegu Metropolitan City Excellent Local Festival Evaluation.' It is one of the projects representing the identity of the Suseong Cultural Foundation. This year, official invited performances such as 'K-Arts Fantasy,' which captures the essence of Korean traditional orchestral music, song, dance, and music, water concerts, the water ball 'Pa (Wave),' and street art performances will be held, along with the 'Suseong Happiness Concert,' a large-scale choral performance involving citizens and artists. In addition, visitors can watch the National Youth Dance Competition performed by citizens, the Suseong-gu Elementary and Middle School Music Harmony Festival, and the Intangible Heritage Festival, and participate in on-site experience programs such as the Drawing Contest and the Deul-an-gil K-Food Festival. Musical fireworks shows will be held at the beginning and end of the festival.
