Korea Confucian Culture Festival

The 2026 Korea Confucian Culture Festival is a Confucian culture festival hosted by Chungcheongnam-do and Nonsan-si and organized by the Korea Institute of Confucian Culture. Under the theme 'Loyalty, Filial Piety, and Etiquette: Becoming My Daily Life,' the event connects the core values of traditional Confucianism with the daily lives of modern people through performances, exhibitions, experiences, education, and academic programs. It will be held from September 18 to 20, 2026, at the Korea Institute of Confucian Culture and the Noseong-myeon area in Nonsan-si. The program includes an opening ceremony, the Chungcheong Spirit Declaration Ceremony, a humanities book concert, the K-Confucianism International Forum, performances, exhibitions, and participation-based competitions and experience programs for families and youth. Designed for various generations and groups, including children, families, youth, young adults, foreigners, and local residents, the festival aims to help participants newly understand and share traditional values in today's life through programs that allow them to experience local Confucian cultural assets and lifestyle culture.
