World Heritage Joseon Royal Tombs Festival

[World Heritage Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty Festival] is a special cultural event designed to convey the history and dignity of the UNESCO World Heritage Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty and to allow visitors to experience the tombs more closely. Through various programs encompassing tradition and modernity, such as performances, tours, experiences, and exhibitions, visitors can encounter the living history and culture preserved by the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty. Started in 2020 and celebrating its 7th iteration this year, the [2026 World Heritage Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty Festival] will run from the opening ceremony on 10.16 (Fri) to 10.25 (Sun). Especially this year, new programs based on the unique stories and historical values of each royal tomb will be presented. It provides a special time to encounter the historical value and beauty of the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty through all five senses by walking around and experiencing various contents following the stories of the tombs.
