Hwasun Red Cliffs Cultural Festival

The Hwasun Red Cliffs Cultural Festival is a local cultural festival held in the area of Hwasun Red Cliffs and the Iseo Community Center in Iseo-myeon, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do. The festival aims to provide various experiences and attractions to local residents and tourists by utilizing the natural scenery and historical/cultural value of the Hwasun Red Cliffs. Key programs include the Red Cliffs Walking Program, where participants walk along the cliffs; the GEO Environmental Concert, which promotes environmental awareness; Red Cliffs Wellness Time for healing the mind and body; experiential programs in collaboration with local public institutions and organizations; and a market for Hwasun's local specialties. Additionally, there are exhibitions and award ceremonies for the Youth Creative Writing Contest, as well as resident-participation programs (Iseo Women's Association, Life Improvement Association, etc.). Free shuttle buses operate during the festival, and about 5,000 guests, residents, and tourists are expected to participate.
