The 8th Geumcheon Science Festival "2026 G-Science Festival" is an event hosted and organized by the Geumcheon-gu Office in Seoul. Under the slogan "Vibrant Future Geumcheon Communicating with AI," the event will be held from September 18 (Fri) to 19 (Sat), 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 daily around the Geumcheon-gu Office area, including the Office Square and Sunken Square. It targets 9,000 youth and residents from within and outside the district. The program is organized across five zones: the Water Splash Shelter, Office Lobby, Office Square, Sunken Square, and Main Auditorium. The Water Splash Shelter features the R-Craft mobile motion simulator and the Seoul Science Center Escape Room Bus, while the Office Lobby hosts an AI piano automatic performance and an AI fortune-telling experience booth. The Office Square includes basic science experience booths, a robot dog (Unitree Go2 Pro), 3D pen experiences, making balance dragonflies, X2 humanoid robots, environment-related booths, Korea Meteorological Administration experiences, upcycling flowerpot making, and a National Geographic experience booth. The Sunken Square offers digital tattoos, AI Omok, AI vs. Human typing battles, and a "Distinguish the Real Painting" challenge. The Main Auditorium features booths from 2026 CES Innovation Award winners Otitton (smart thermometer) and Geowind (wind turbine), 4DX world cultural heritage content, AR smart glasses, and the Vibe Coding Contest (Hackathon). Stage programs include a Science Magic Show, Magic Bubble Show, the science musical "Tomorrow Running on Science," youth busking performances, guerrilla events, and a commemorative ceremony with a robot dance performance. As a side event, a stamp tour event is operated where souvenirs are provided for collecting five stamps.
