To commemorate Youth Day, a statutory holiday (the third Saturday of September) established to promote youth rights and development and raise interest in youth issues, the 8th Busan Youth Week will be held for three days from September 18 (Fri) to 20 (Sun) at Busan Port Pier 1. The slogan for 2026 Busan Youth Week is "Faces of Busan." Under the theme of a masquerade where Busan's sea and youth meet, the stories of young people living in Busan, a city embracing the Southeast Sea, will be portrayed. Planned by a youth director living in Busan, the event aims to show how individual stories come together to form the face of a city. It offers a special time for young people to temporarily set aside their social obligations (main persona) and find their true selves (sub-persona). In particular, the program incorporates immersive production techniques, adding the unique character and creativity of the youth director. Starting with the Youth Day ceremony on September 19 at Busan Port Pier 1, various programs will take place over three days at the Busan Youth Center and other youth spaces. Anyone who is a youth, not just those from Busan, can participate. For more details, please refer to the website.
