The 5th Busan Seo-gu Medical Tourism Festival will be held for two days on October 16 and 17 at Songdo Ocean Park, co-hosted by Seo-gu, Pusan National University Hospital, Dong-A University Hospital, Kosin University Gospel Hospital, and Sahmyook Busan Hospital. This festival aims to promote Seo-gu, the first "Medical Tourism Special Zone" in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region, establish a foundation for attracting foreign patients through "business consultations and buyer fam tours," and provide residents and tourists with accurate health information and various medical experience opportunities. This year, health-related consultations, exhibitions, promotions, and experience events will be held at about 60 booths. Various medical-related institutions, including co-hosting hospitals, public health centers, and the National Health Insurance Service, will participate to provide visitors with various health services and information, such as physical examinations, stress diagnosis, oriental medicine pharmacopuncture treatment, and consultation on correct medication intake. In addition, the "Medical and Healthcare Industry Promotion Hall" will be operated in cooperation with Busan Techno Park to intensively promote core projects of the Seo-gu Medical Special Zone, such as the Medical R&D Knowledge Industry Center, Incubator, Local Industry, and Medical Demonstration Project, and showcase various medical healthcare devices from innovative companies participating in the projects. On-site, there are plenty of things to see and enjoy, including wellness experience programs for all ages such as "Slow Jogging," "Silent Meditation Yoga," "CrossFit," and "Jumping Fitness" tailored to the health wellness concept, as well as the "Kids Doctor Experience Center," "Air Sports," and other children's health playgrounds and family-customized experience booths. Side events include a "Health Talk Concert" with a plastic surgeon from Kosin University Gospel Hospital, a "Children's Magic and Balloon Show," and large board games. The opening ceremony will be held at 3 PM on the 16th, and the opening celebration stage will feature "Ahn Seong-hoon" from "Mr. Trot 2 Jin," the Gugak B-boy "Lastreet Crew," and pop flutist "Seogabi" to present an exciting performance.
