On a mysterious night in October, special guests travel back in time to the sleepless city of Damyang. The Damyang National Heritage Night Tour unfolds the narratives of historical and cultural figures born in Damyang, centered around Gwanbangjerim Forest, Gaeksari Seokdanggan (Stone Flagpole Support), and Namsan-ri Five-story Stone Pagoda. The event is filled with dynamic storytelling, including a street play that conveys the story of Seongbusa, who built Gwanbangjerim, through love and laughter; a heart-pounding Madang-changgeuk performance by Lee Nal-chi, a master singer of the Joseon Dynasty from Damyang; a talk concert with night stories and piano melodies under the Seokdanggan; and family games and performances where participants complete missions as Jeon Woo-chi, who practiced magic at Yeondongsa Temple in Damyang. Added to this are deep humanities lectures contemplating the secrets of Damyang singer-songwriter Kim Jeong-ho's 'White Butterfly' and the commonalities between Seong I-seong and Jeon Cheon-sang. Damyang's history and culture are layered over the quiet night and the subtly spread grass. On a mysterious night in October, you can experience the special atmosphere unique to Damyang.
