2026 Korea Science Festival with Jeonbuk Science Fair

2026 Korea Science Festival with Jeonbuk Science Fair is a science festival designed to allow citizens to experience 'Physical AI,' a future industry of Jeonbuk. The event will be held for three days from October 16 to 18, 2026, at the Jeonju University Main Stadium and Harim Mission Hall. Under the theme 'A Moving World, Opening a New Future with Physical AI!', the event is organized so that AI is not limited to technology on a screen but can be experienced as technology that actually moves and operates in the real world, such as robots and sensors. In connection with the Korea Science Festival, national science museums, excellent research institutes outside the province, and universities participate in this event, which aims to expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy science culture. It provides research achievements in cutting-edge science and technology fields such as AI, bio, energy, and mobility as experiential content tailored to the eye level of children, youth, and the general public. In addition, in connection with the Jeonbuk State Office of Education, it is a participatory science festival where elementary, middle, and high schools in the province directly operate experience booths and organize events for visitors to participate in. The main programs consist of the opening ceremony, the Jeonbuk Science and Technology Award and Student Science Invention Award ceremonies, themed exhibitions, science and technology experiences, and performances. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, Jeonbuk State, and the Jeonbuk State Office of Education, and organized by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, Jeonbuk Techno Park, and the Jeonbuk Science Culture Hub Center.
