The 2026 Fortress City in the Forest - Namhansanseong Autumn Festa is an experiential program designed to share the value of the World Heritage site with citizens, taking place throughout the Namhansanseong area. Visitors can reflect on the historical value and beauty of Namhansanseong at various spots across the fortress, with a variety of programs including experiences, performances, and tours. The event consists of four main programs: <Traditional Culture Experience>, where visitors encounter the history and traditions of the fortress through hands-on activities; <Eco-History Camp>, where they learn about the fortress's ecology through commentary and natural materials; <Namhansanseong Yeonhui Hanmadang>, which adds excitement with theatrical and traditional Korean music performances; and the <Chuseok Special Program>, which colors Namhansanseong with light and music during the Chuseok holiday. Visitors can experience the value and charm of the World Heritage Namhansanseong up close.
