Paju Fair Book & Culture provides a special venue where major publishers, authors, readers, and bookstores gather to look at and enjoy books from a new perspective, rather than just reading them. It expands the realm of reading culture by presenting various cultural and artistic creative works such as performances, exhibitions, and experiences originating from books as source content. Furthermore, it serves as a global market that actively introduces excellent K-Books and related content to overseas markets and opens up sales channels. The 2026 Paju Fair Book & Culture consists of various programs over about 10 days. Starting with the opening ceremony 'BOOKS ALIVE!', various performances such as indie music and dance festivals and youth dance festivals will be held. The book market 'Nan-geot-deul' involving about 290 publishers and bookstores, the independent program 'Nan-jang-pan', and thematic exhibitions are linked to provide a wealth of things to see. In addition, as a youth accompaniment program, the Paju Brewery Concert, the listening session 'Just Listen for Now', and the 'Book-nic' experience of renting picnic items are operated. Along with this, global publishing and IP business consultations and international forums for overseas expansion are held to promote the scalability of K-Books, and rich cultural networking programs such as lectures and flea markets held throughout the publishing city are prepared.
