Cheonan Book Festival

The Book Festival is Cheonan City Library's representative book festival where reading, experience, and play come together, joined by reading-related organizations such as libraries, clubs, bookstores, and publishers. It is operated as a reading culture event that all citizens can enjoy together, featuring meetings with authors, performances, experience booths, side events, and an outdoor library. This event will be held at the Sunken Plaza of Cheonan Samgeori Park, featuring an opening ceremony, an award ceremony for prolific readers, a family musical performance, and an ensemble performance. At the outdoor library, you can relax and read books under the autumn sunlight. There will also be meetings with author Han So-gon, who wrote 'Gochujang Errand' (selected as the 2026 Cheonan City Book of the Year), and author Lee Seo-su, who wrote 'Still, Please Dance'. In addition, you can experience various reading activities at 16 experience booths and 13 bookstore and publisher booths. Admission is free.
