The Gwangju Seochang Eulalia Festival is an urban eco-environmental festival held every October along the Yeongsan River. It is a festival where you can enjoy the autumn atmosphere with nature while walking along the silver eulalia paths and the sunset of Seochang Field, one of the eight scenic views of Seo-gu. The 11th Gwangju Seochang Eulalia Festival will be held for four days from October 15 to 18, 2026, around the Yeongsan River Bicycle Path Information Center under the theme 'A Journey into Autumn Conveyed by Silver Eulalia.' The festival grounds will feature various experiential contents combining walking and sound, such as the Eulalia Path with melodies, the SG Eulalia Field Lounge with LP music, soundscapes, and sound walk map making. In addition, programs for visitors to participate in directly, such as 'Find the King of Relaxation,' 'Sunset 530,' and 'Treading Eulalia Expedition,' as well as the 2026 Gwangju Seochang Eulalia Sunset Marathon and walking programs with dogs, will be prepared. It is a representative autumn eco-festival of Gwangju's Seo-gu, designed to enjoy relaxation and experience in nature centered on eulalia, sunsets, music, and walking.
