The 2026 Jinan Plateau Forestival is a forest culture event held from October 10 to 11, 2026, in the area of the National Jinan Plateau Forest Healing Center. It is hosted by the Korea Forest Service, Jeonbuk State, and Jinan-gun, and organized by the National Jinan Plateau Forest Healing Center and the Jeonbuk State Culture and Tourism Foundation. The program features non-competitive trail running with 16K and 6K courses. The 16K course is 16.9 km with a cumulative elevation gain of over 1,071 m and a 6-hour time limit. The 6K course is 6 km with a cumulative elevation gain of over 315 m and a 3-hour time limit. Participants can enjoy trail running along with forest healing, forest culture experiences, local markets, and various experience programs. The event is planned for 500 participants each day.
