The 2026 National Heritage Media Art Cheorwon Labor Party Headquarters is a nighttime cultural arts event that reinterprets the historical value and sense of place of national heritage through media art, set against the backdrop of the Cheorwon Labor Party Headquarters and the Cheorwon History and Culture Park, which preserve the history of the Korean War and division. The theme of the event is 'Peace Soaring: From Memory to Empathy, Beyond Healing to the Future!' and it expresses memories of the past through light and video while delivering messages of peace and healing. The event features media facades using the exterior walls of the Labor Party Headquarters, interactive media, AR experiences, light sculptures, AI media art, citizen participation content, and performances. A major highlight is the program 'Pro PACE: For Peace' by world-renowned media artist Yann Nguema, tailored to the location and history of the Labor Party Headquarters, along with programs that express Cheorwon's history, literature, and citizens' stories through media art and performances. The event is closed every Tuesday and on Chuseok (September 25) during the event period. Cultural commentator docent tours, special performances, and experiential programs are also operated at the venue.
