Gangneung Noodle Festival

The Gangneung Noodle Festival is a representative gourmet festival held in Gangneung, a city of noodles where noodle dishes such as Jang-kalguksu, Makguksu, Jjamppong, and Gamja-ongsimi-kalguksu are loved more than in any other region. It was widely loved as the Gangneung Noodle Festival until 2025, and for its 5th edition in 2026, the event name was changed to Gangneung Guksu Festival to become more familiar to the public and reflect various local characteristics. In 2026, it will be held for four days from October 15 to October 18 at Wolhwa Street. It features food zones where you can taste various noodles of Gangneung, as well as plenty of things to see and enjoy, ranging from Gangneung's representative restaurants to various noodle flavors hidden in the alleys. Along with various experiences, exhibitions, contests, and cooking shows, you can fully enjoy the golden autumn of 2026 here at Wolhwa Street.
