Yuseong Chrysanthemum Festival

The 17th Yuseong Chrysanthemum Festival, selected as a representative festival of Daejeon since 2022, will be held for 16 days from October 17 to November 1 in the Yurim Park area. Visitors can enjoy various exhibitions, experiences, and performances that capture the natural beauty of chrysanthemums and the characteristics of Yuseong as a city of science. This year, the Hanbit Tower, a symbol of the science city, will be newly presented as a chrysanthemum sculpture, and the Aster chrysanthemum garden will be expanded to Yuseongcheon Stream (under Eoeungyo Bridge), while a Cosmos path will be created along Bandoji Pond and the Yuseongcheon walking trail to provide a rich autumn flower landscape. In addition, lifestyle gardening experiences such as drawing caricature robots and terrariums, wood experiences, chrysanthemum-related experience programs, and performances by local universities and local artists will be operated. At night, emotional night content such as Moonlight Busking, Candle Garden Concert, Wish Lanterns, and Chrysanthemum (Onbit) Cinema will be prepared to make it a festival where people can stay and enjoy for a long time. Receipt events and restaurant maps linked to the commercial districts near the festival site will also be operated to boost the local economy.
