2026 Hangang Paper Plane Festival

This year's festival, themed "Autumn Light Playground," features the Hangang Paper Airplane Flying Competition where participants fold and fly paper airplanes by the Han River in autumn. The event includes lectures and demonstrations by national paper airplane team members, hands-on experiences for the whole family, performances, photo zones, photo-op events, and on-site event matches. For the highlight of the festival, the paper airplane competition, a maximum of 700 participants (the venue's full capacity for the one-day event) will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via online registration only. For visitors who could not register for the competition, "On-site Event Matches" will be held this year. The specific events for these matches will be revealed on the day, and anyone on-site can participate.
