The 2026 A+ Festival (Culture and Arts Festival for the Disabled) is a cultural arts festival where artists with and without disabilities, along with citizens, communicate and harmonize through art. Under the theme 'Brilliantly Shining, Stories of the Starry World,' the festival captures the process of people with unique personalities and talents connecting and achieving harmony through art, much like different stars coming together to form a beautiful constellation. The festival aims to highlight the creative activities and artistic capabilities of artists with disabilities and create an environment where everyone can enjoy culture and arts equally, transcending the boundaries between disability and non-disability. To this end, it operates various genre performances such as music, dance, and theater, exhibitions showcasing works by artists with disabilities, and hands-on programs for citizens to participate in. Furthermore, it expands artistic exchange through collaborative stages featuring both artists with and without disabilities, providing opportunities for citizens to experience diverse artistic expressions and values. It will be held from October 16 to 18, 2026, at Magok Square in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, providing a venue for cultural and artistic exchange to understand each other's differences and share the values of diversity and coexistence through art.
