The 2026 Seoul Animal Happiness Festa is a participatory festival celebrating Seoul Animal Protection Day, sharing a culture where humans and animals live together. Held from October 17th to 18th at the plaza in front of the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, it offers various programs for pet owners, non-pet owners, and families. Programs include the 'Animal Happiness Run' where dogs and owners walk along the Han River, 'Seol Chae-hyeon's Pet Talk Live' to discuss daily pet concerns, the 'Second Life Pride Contest' featuring special stories of adopted dogs and their owners, and the 'Pimky Red Carpet Adoption Festival' introducing animals waiting for new families. Additionally, the 'Animal Protection PLAY Zone' allows visitors to experience various animal welfare issues (wild, farm, laboratory, service, and exhibition animals) through games and missions. Other on-site programs include behavior and health consultations, animal registration, abandoned animal adoption campaigns, pet culture OX quizzes, and photo zones. This citizen-participatory animal culture festival goes beyond just loving animals to provide an easy and enjoyable way to experience how humans and animals can live happily together.
