The Jeonpo Coffee Festival is Busan's first coffee festival, launched in 2017 to commemorate Jeonpo Cafe Street being selected as one of the "Places to Go" by The New York Times. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year under the theme "10 Years of Jeonpo Connected by Coffee," the festival will be held from October 17 to 18 throughout the Jeonpo Cafe Street area. Visitors can experience various coffee flavors and cultures through coffee and dessert booths from Jeonpo and Busan, as well as guest barista booths from Japan and Taiwan. The event also features coffee-related programs such as hand-drip experiences, master brewing classes, and barista seminars, alongside diverse participatory activities like live performances, auction events, and stamp tours. Attendees can enjoy a special festival where coffee, culture, people, and local businesses come together amidst the unique alleyway vibes of Jeonpo, where distinctive cafes and various shops coexist.
