2026 Culture Month Yeosu

The '2026 Culture Month' event, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City, and Yeosu City, will be held for four days from Friday, October 16 to Monday, October 19, at Marine Park and throughout Yeosu. Since 1990, the 'Culture Month Event' has been a cultural festival designed to promote the unique culture and charm of regions and allow everyone to enjoy culture and art together. This year, under the theme 'Yeosu Night Sea, Voyage of Romance and Culture,' a cultural venue will be created where citizens and visitors can enjoy and empathize together by adding Yeosu's history and art to the beauty of the sea and islands. Along with invited performances by Park Hye-won and Zior Park, various performances, exhibitions, experiences, and lifestyle culture programs will be combined to present the unique charm of Yeosu. This autumn, for four days when Yeosu becomes the stage, a special voyage begins to meet the romance of the night sea and the emotion of culture and art.
